socket A?

friend needs a new cooler for his CPU
not sure what socket it is..
at boot up it says AMD 1000mhz or something
is this socket A?

The nf7-s is socket a. The new thermalright copper heatsinks work great, but are very expensive. I use a speeze aluminum model that I found locally for $4. I recommend their whisper II model, about $14 at newegg.
