I am buying a new board/processor this week and have been reading up on problems and opinions of the various socket a DDR boards. It seems most ppl prefer the AMD 760 chipset over the ALi. I had originally intended to buy the ASUS A7A266 but it seems that board is not very well liked. I cant seem to find the A7M266 in stock anywhere[plus I am not so sure of the southbridge on that board]. I am a die-hard ASUS man, but I am looking for other suggestions in light of these problems.

isa slot not req'd

I realize this topic is somewhat beaten to death, as I have spent the past few days reading past posts, but I would greatly appreciate any input.

TIA

If I were you, I'd wait a little while since the DDR chipsets is still in its infancy. Btw, the new SIS chipset seems to outperform the competition so stay tuned.
