I am finally upgrading and i am thinking about getting a Duron 700 and overclocking it, with that in mind what motherboard do you think i should get, i want to either get an Abit KT7-Raid or a MSI K7T Pro2A. Which do you think would be the better decision, anyone with experience with both boards please help.

Thanks for the help ; )

both are good boards, and out of the two I would get the MSIk7tPRO2a, because MSI has a better quality record than Abit. But if I was buying a new VIA based mobo right now I would get a KT-133A based board, the best two would probably be the Abit KT7A-raid or the Epox 8KTA3, both have ATA-100 RAid onboard, and support FSB's up to 150+ (and people have actually gotten them stable there too)

Whenever I read some of these posts I always feel fortunate. I have an Abit KT7 (nonRAID) and it has performed flawlessly for me. In fact, it's one of the sweetest mobo's I've ever used. (And I've worked with a lot of them over the years.)

So, either Abit doesn't deserve the bad rep it seems to have or I got incredibly lucky when I bought mine.
