socket a hsf = socket 370 hsft?

I have a 900mhz celeron coming in for a fileserver and I need a socket 370 heatsink. I have a few socket a hsfs laying around. I know a lot of them are backwards compatible with socket 370, but are all of them? I'm guessing the difference would be in the retention mechanism? I never had a s370 machine so I have no idea.

hi Mikhail 🙂
most socket a retention clips are single hole but if you have a socket a hsf with three hole that should work..but as always ymmv and gl.
