Did you guys use your hands , butterknife, or what? Also plz include the name of your heatsink. Thanks 😉

used my fingertips and alot of pressure with my alpha pal6035...then i realized i forgot the thermal paste....still havent removed it yet

I'm going to install the Taisol CEK733, is this a hard heatsink? I prefer to use fingers if it is possible. 🙂

Okay...the 733 is a cinch to put on. Just hook it on the back and use a flat head screwdriver to push the other end down until it locks under the latch. The force is alot, if you try with fingers they will be stressed 🙂 Don't get scared at the force you use to put it on, just be careful you don't slide off the clip and gouge your mainboard or knock off a capisitor. You can use your fingers but it won't be easy. I've [taken off/put on] my 742's so many times and had no problems whatsoever... the 742 uses a different clip (has three notches for the socket latches) but the installation is just the same as the 733 (which I've used as well).

yea be careful with the screwdrivers. Its very easy to slip when ur putting force down on the heatsink. Just take it easy and its a pretty easy task.
