Socket A cooling fan recommendations?

I built my computer a couple years ago and at the time didn't really care if my computer was loud or not, and went with a Silver Orb CPU. However, things have changed now. I no longer have my AMD 950 overclocked at all and I just want something that will do a sufficient job of cooling it QUIETLY! Right now its loud enough that if I leave the computer on overnight I sometimes have a hard time waking up to my alarm clock in the mornings.

I've looked around at 2cooltek among others and there doesn't seem to be a consistent measurement basis for the loudness. I know this has to be one of the louder fans for Socket A processors, yet according to things I'm seeing it is rated as one of the quietest.... I don't feel like spending a lot on this, as I will be upgrading in a couple months.

Can I get some recommendations?

I just ordered a couple Thermal Integration V77L HSFs (9$ at newegg - 13$ shipped separately - can be had for even less at CPUtopia.com if you're willing to risk a new company based in Nev.) and a couple of 80-70mm adapters from SVCompucycle.com (I've been having difficulty getting to their site if I use SVC.com). The V77L works very well with its stock 70mm fan (IMO, the HS itself is one of the best designs around), but just a tad noisy. I'll let you know how my experiment turns out.
