All K8 (i.e. Athlon 64s, FX Opterons) are exactly the same size. The pin outs are a little different, but physically they are the same size.

K7s (462/a) are larger, and there for most likely not compatable, though, i believe some aftermarket HSFU include brackets that support a wide range of platforms.
