Well a friend and I are trying to get a rig running for one of our friends and basically have everything but a heatsink. We do have an old Socket 939 Stock Heatsink but I am not sure if it will physically latch.
I have read a few conflicting reports so thats why I am asking here.
The heatsink is only going to cool a Athlon64 3500+ 65w and this heatsink came of a 939 Athlon 3500 so it should be fine to use thermally speaking.
