I am in need of a new Socket 7 motherboard. I have a system that the original board went bad and I need to replace it. Should I go with a ALi OR VIA chipset?

I have a Tyan S1590 with Via MVP3, and a Biostar M5ALC with Ali Aladdin V chipsets. The Via MVP3 chipset has proven to be very stable - I never have any sort of problem with that system. I've had a lot of trouble with the Ali Aladdin V chipset and AGP video cards.

I had a TMC TI5VG+ (just recently sold to a friend for his mom) that had some issues but I think most of them were due to version 1.0 boards with a non upgradable beta internal testign only BIOS. I also have a FIC VA503 that is still running a 450 chip as my NT server box. Not a problem. I have some ALi motherbaords at work from Soyo that are ok. I had a problem with one AGP port but a new driver fixed it. But I've never tried real AGP gaming or anything on it.
