Hello!
Is there a difference between a Socket 370 processor and a FCPGA one? I'm planning an upgrade, and have a slot 1 BX board with a Celeron 400 on an adapter card. I think the Celeron is probably a Socket 370 model--not absolutely sure--but if I upgrade, it would be cheaper to get an FCPGA, so I need to know if the two are compatible...are they different names for the same thing?
Thanks!

1) Socket 370 is the type of interface the new Intel Copperimines connect to the motherboard.
2) FC-PGA is the chip design.

Basically, FC-PGA chips fit into the socket 370.

There are Socket 370 Motherboards that support only PGA and some that will do both FCPGA and PGA.... (Flip Chip Pin Grid Array)
