Simple yes/no poll.
I don't care for people with AMD CPU's nor socket 1156 in this poll.

EDIT:
Might add that the reason for this poll is that I had a debate on another smaller forum and I claimed the the majority of socket 1336 + i7 owners OC, he claims most don't OC.
So it is a fact finding poll.

I would think the majority on this site OC but the majority overall probably do not.
EDIT: and 1366 btw

Yeppers,

i7 930 @ 4 Ghz. Can do 4.2 pretty easy.. but it gets a little to warm. (HT On)

My Voltages are a tad above what some consider safe.. but I plan on upgrading the CPU anyway at some point. If it fries I will have my very first Intel keychain.

i7 960 @ 3.8. Voltages slightly bumped from the defaults, but still in the stock range.

May I ask why you bought a socket 1366 X58 (enthusiast) board and a i7 CPU..and don't OC?

I got a deal on an i7 930 and MSI X58 board at Frys.
I needed the 8 thread capability for the sw I run, but want
low heat and noise. Works perfectly for my needs.

Yep, I OCed mine.

Though I don't see how this is a "fact finding poll". You should ask this question on some general purpose forum, not in the CPU section of a tech site - it's a highly skewed sample. I mean, what did you expect to find out here :p

Idk... I wouldn't draw that comparison. Muscle cars are at least ostentatious (if i've got the definition of muscle cars right). Who's gonna know if you have a 980x or a 750 in your computer tower?

They buy those cars and put all kind of performance parts on them and they never race them.

I OC, and probably most of the people with 1366 i7s here OC, but I don't think that the majority of people worldwide OC.
