It started at about 6:00pm last night. It is coming down harder than ever 14 hours later. Every car in Hoboken is buried in snow already by the plows. There are about two cars on the street and the sidewalks are unpassable. The handful of people walking around are just walking down the middle of the street. Pics to be posted later...

How is it where you live?

edit: Pics - as promised

Time for someone to get the sleds out. Can you imagine how much fun you could have with a couple of snowmobiles?

Raining here in Oregon, but then we rarely ever get snow down here in the valley.

Sunny in Salt Lake City, UT.

No snow in sight :(.

I'm sooooo sick of this winterless winter. I think I'm gonna give up on seasons all together and just move to Hawaii.

It's finally over here in central Illinois. We didn't get it as bad as some of the east coasters are getting it, but the blowing snow did get up to five foot drifts here.

Thankfully, my DirecTV dish never went out :D

I hope you get snow soon, I'm coming out there to ski at Deer Valley next month. :(

Holy ****! Got up, looked out the window and there was no snow on the top of the cars, which was all that was visible from that window. I just assumed that the weathermen were wrong and the storm had fizzled out. Oops, another window provided a better view of the 2 foot drifts that the wind had piled up. This is going to be REALLY ugly before it's over.

Here in Northern Virginia, it's kind of sucky! 24" or more snow is on the ground. In between the layers of snow, is a good amount of frozen rain from yesterday - adding more weight to the snow. I'm really not looking forward to shoveling this mess, though. :(

On the bright side, the white snow looks very pure, clean and refreshing. :)

I'm very thankful for my cable Internet connection so I can be on-line at the same time as the phone rings. Lots of friends and neighbors have been calling each day to talk to my wife. I guess they're bored and sick of being stuck inside.

ought three...lol that thing is catching on...my roommate Vince heard the guy in Shawshank redemption use "ought five" to refer to 1905...so Vince decided he's bringing it back and will now refer to all the 0 years as "ought something".

You're the first person besides Vince that I've heard use it.

btw its sunny here in Denver...we need the snow :(

Good Times, Good Times!!

I used to love to be snowed in when I lived in Montana and Missouri.

Food, drinks, a raging fire in the fireplace, TV , Stereo, the cat and hopefully some female company. Only time it sucked was if the power went out but even then it was neat if it didnt last too long. Camping at home.

BTW, 75-80 here the rest of the week and sunny. One of the few good things about Floriduh.
