so for quite some time now i've been using my powers(daffy duck: mwuahahahaha) to have certain advancements pushed through. mostly just something i want and don't care who turns the money by making it.
the particular software i had made that i'm now interested in discussing
3d clothing design apps
optitex: met yoram burg on a political discussion forum where i pitched the idea. so far seems to have developed the best program and best business model for my software idea. probably the guy i should ask for a free copy
marvelous designer 2: not sure how they came upon my idea but they certainly have made a fine application even if it is lacking a few critical features.
Browzwear: no idea who these people are but they seem to be close on the coat tails of the other two. their software seems a bit more primitive than i'd prefer.
so now that i've had the program created comes the daunting task of obtaining it lol.
optitex = arm+leg
marvelous designer 2 = $200
browzwear = who cares, looks like crapware.
i think this software will eventually be built into video games either as an add-on or as a stand alone. an add-on might be something for all those rpg doll type games where the ever increasing demand for customization would eventually reach the pinnacles of total and complete freedom of design. perhaps by a stand alone concept incorporating voting polls as some kind of fasionista dance dance revolution type teenybopper crap.
either way i'm going to accelerate getting game developers interested in the idea because i still cant get a cracked or otherwise free or cheap copy
if anyone wants to pitch something like this to the game developers while showing interest in it, it would make things a bit easier for me.
