Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade my computer to a Duron 1.2 GHz and I'm wondering what motherboard to get. I want to be able to use my old SDRAM (PC 133) for now since I can't aford to buy DDRAM. Anyone have a sugiestion as to which motherboard to chose?

I have an MSI K7T Turbo-R and an Epox 8KTA3 both running with 800 MHZ Durons and 133MHZ SDRAM. They are both nice boards that are OK for overclocking and very stable...I think either one can be had for about $80 now...:)

There are a plethora of Socket A boards available that support PC133, but the current best chipsets for PC133 are the Via KT133A and the SiS735, so I would look for a board that has the features you want with one of these two chipsets. The SiS735 is pretty hard to find much selection on, so most go with the ECS K7S5A, but the nice thing about this board is it is compatible with both PC133 and DDR, so you can upgrade later if you want. The KT133A boards don't really have that option, so that is something to conider when making a choice.

Thanks for the tips.
How much performance lose would using regular SDRAM be?
At the moment I'm thinking about geting the MS-K7T Turbo-2 mb but that only suports SDRAM, so if I brought that one I'd be stuck with SDRAM. On the other hand I can't find any of the mbs that suport both SDRAM and DDRAM in the stores around where I live (Sweden). The only one I can find is the ASUS A7A266-E and I hear that isn't a very nice board.
