San Diego has a desert climate. It is not a desert.
Most of socal is either a desert or close to it. Definition of a desert is less than 10 in precipitation/year, most of socal is in the 10-15 inches per year range.

snorefest. I got excited at the first snowfall. And we got 2 days in a row. I wish it would snow most days if it's going to be this cold anyway. My boys played ice hockey outdoors in 19F weather last night ;)

The only thing that sucks is beach weather only lasts about 3 months. But I don't mind winter.

I can go skiing with a 2 hour drive. No need to dig out my car from the snow before heading out either.

I don't ski. 2 hours is not short. I just like the atmosphere and the aesthetics out my window when it all comes down. It's not that often anyway and I hardly ever have to dig out.

I personally like coastal SoCal weather but low 80s in January is actually somewhat uncomfortable.

It shouldn't matter to you guys with cushy indoor office jobs. Try working outside all day in the freezing cold like 14 stories high with the cold wind blowing from every direction.

Hovered around 0 all day but I had to get out so I bundled up and went for a walk. It's not bad if you dress appropriately.

That's terrible winter weather, and a bit hot for summer too.

You're absolutely right - I'm gonna go outside and walk the dogs in my shorts and think about how terribly wrong I've been.

I'd be willing to trade a few degrees for some rain though lol

i'll trade a few degrees for a significantly lower cost of living.

but otherwise, i trolled the fuck out of one of my friends on facebook today who was saying how New York was so fucking cold :D

When San Diego runs out of water, I'll be sure to post a pic of myself watering my lawn drinking a cold lemonade you bungholes.

Be careful, in the relocation process they might drive up real estate costs and vote in Democrats.

I live in NY. We're infested with democrats already. Now the blonde, bikini clad California girls we will gladly provide refuge for.

The California palm trees were imported from Samoa in 1944 by real estate people to make the place look cool.
