Just got a set of 17's for my car and now I'm looking to get set of tires. I was going to order from Tire Rack but then I thought of how much I'd be paying for mounting and balancing so I decided to look for them locally. I'm looking specifically for Yokohama Parada Spec 2's size 205/45R17. So far I have two shops on the list: Globe Tire and Savas. Haven't called up either one yet but other suggestions are sought.

Give Trojan Tire and Tucker Tire in Covina a call. They both do good work and you might get a deal.

I used JustTires; they did a decent job.

One of my friends does a lot of car restoration and he says that Discount Tire is the store he always uses.

Well, looks like I can do discount tire for about $126 mounted. Works out about the same if I were to buy them from tirerack and have them mounted. I still have to make a few calls.

I'm guessing you guys would recommend metal valve stems vs. rubber?
