Probably the fires.

We had REALLY bad fires in a Florida a few years ago and the sky was yellow and smoky for weeks on the east coast (cocoa beach).

No, the color is accurate. In fact it was even worse this morning.

I got up this morning and I'm like, huh look how dark it is outside, must be early dawn. I look at my clock and it says 10AM. I pull the shades and it looks like judgement day outside.
