Finally made it to work through the torrential downpour... this is the only time the my entire stay in Cali (8 months) that it's rained two days in a row. From the forecast, it's looking like it'll stay wet until Friday... I'm from the midwest/east coast so I'm used to this kinda weather, but good grief... Cali residents don't know how to drive in rain! :Q

Peace,
Dezign

Just be glad you weren't there during the last El Nino. They had rain for months.

No kidding. Did you hear about the 15 car-pile accident yesterday? Ridiculous! I hate how SoCal ppl don't know how to drive in the rain. Whenever it rains, everyone drives about 50mph or less on the freeway and they drive less than 30 on the highway.

Ha! That's nothing compared to the 198 car pileup on the 710 in November and that was due to very light rain and fog. Story Here

I like it too because its out of the normal, perfect, sunny, blue sky day. The only downside is that my 15 mile trek to work takes about 1.5 hours. Ugh!

I love rain. I'm sitting here waiting for that rain from Cali to work its way over to Phoenix. It sprinkled a little and is supposed to get harder this afternoon. Yay!:D

I'm used to driving in the rain.. winters in San Francisco always had rain..

But I hate the f-ing rain. Some SoCal people don't know how to drive in the rain at all.

Although snow is alot quieter therefore even more peacful.. meh.. :)

Bah, they don't drive so well in dry weather either.

Personally I think Bay Area drivers are worse, but then the conditions are more difficult and it's all subjective anyway.

Btw, my first car was an old no-frills Toyota Tercel. When it rained was the only time I had "power steering".

I've lived in SoCal my whole life, and when it rains I go out and drive on purpose! :) I really do enjoy it, since it rarely happens. I just wish it was colder so the snow level would drop to like 4000 ft!!! We need more snow here! (I'm a snowboarder)

Personally, I like the rain. It's the idiot drivers I hate. And you KNOW someone from the north east or east side of the Rockys is going to come in here and call you all whiners then go off about the snow and ice :)

DUDE! Do you know how slippery our freeways are after 3 years of no hard rain!!!! They're slippery as F!CK!! Until we get at least 5 days of hard rain I'm not driving over 50 on the freeways. Us California's can drive like F1 drivers when it's dry but our roads as slippery as hell when wet!!!!

Heh... nuts. NutBucket. Gah. :p

I was doing 50 max on the 10-W to work this morning. I think I'll stay a little later and work out tonight, to avoid the 5-7pm rush.

Stay safe (and dry)!

Peace,
Dezign
