Congrats to the Milestone Makers, including Shmapty's 5P!:thumbsup:

Thanks for the stats, TallBill! :D

Free-DC doesn't seem to be slacking off, so we need to be ramping up, which we are doing of course, thanks to TAS and other TeAm members helping out!:thumbsup:

Got my new PC going. As soon as I do the Vista service install, I should be back in action. (I think I've got the details, thanks). Vista is a bit different from Win98

While waiting for it to arrive, I (re-)tried a few other projects S@H & enigma - - I never appreciated how seamless SoB is for dial-up use. (and I hope to improve that this year, too).

Results coming soon,
sb

Have you tried the SBQueue? with that you can make a queue that stores units, both finished and new. It would help if you do not have a permanent connection. :D

Thx for the stats.

We're going great as a team. We will have to look out though. I read on the DPC forum, the OGR project f DNet is finished and lots of the cows involved with OGR are now coming towards SoB. :(

I meant to ask about that.... if you loose your internet connection, will the SoB clients keep crunching until they finish their current task (takes a couple days) or will they stop when they finish the current block (the segments that take less than a minute)?

Yeah, SoB & DPAD are the best for dial-up i've ever run.

The client will keep going until the entire test is finished even if it can't connect to send intermediate blocks.

No, it'll crunch fine to the end of the WU. And if you have SBQueue on that particular machine then it'll keep going anyways. I just use one Queue though for the network so once the other machines chewed through their WU's they sit idle. I get my router tomorrow at 9am though :D
