SoB: Progress/Work isn't showing up?

I'm running SoB, and the computer is doing work at rate a bit faster than 500k per second for about 24 hours.

I look at my SoB Stats and I'm only doing work at a rate of 200k... what gives? I think it might even be another computer doing that work, and mines not getting accredited for it. The User name and team is correct, and I can't find out why my computer isn't getting any credit.

Any ideas?

Are you submitting intermediate blocks on this system? If not, it won't transmit your work until it finishes a test.

OK, anything suspicious in the log? (Such as not being able to connect to the server)

If not, when was the test retrieved from the server? The SoB stats reflect the average rate based on this as a starting time, IIRC.

You can check your pending tests by logging on to the SoB site under Preferences/Pending Test Management.

I had one machine not getting credit.
I had to uninstall SOB and install it again.

I think you solved it. I got the test 5 days ago, and I just started it yesterday, so the work could be divided... So.... should I expire the test and start another?

You may as well continue with the test. The rate doesn't mean all that much, it's the total work done... and if you don't complete the test, by expiring it, you lose all the credit for it (as if you'd never started it).

SoB's policy of showing your rate as an average from when you first got the unit can cause a little confusion. You might notice that when you finish that test and start another, your graph will suddenly rocket up 😉
