SoB: No daily stats today, sorry

My server decided to die a horrible death, and not run any of the scripts for the stats.

I am in the process of reinstalling it all, so unfortunately no stats at the moment.

Stats will however return tomorrow 🙂

Thanks anyway.

🙂

BTW: I have a question somewhat OT but maybe related to this thread. Last month I was installing software for my DVD reader/CD-RW drive when WinXP locked up. I had to hit the reset button. When it rebooted, bios did not even see the HD. I was in a hurry to get my computer back up so I bought a new HD, but I'm curious if there is any hope for salvaging the old HD. It was a Western Digital 60MB if that makes a difference. Since the bios didn't see it I figured it was toast.

No problem Confused...
Get it back soon 🙂

BTW, i'm stepping up again... so beware... 😉

Thanks for the stats Confused and Chipster22...

About the OT, if it's a 60MB drive, it's quit old.... lol 🙂
connect the drive to a computer and check if it's ok. At last resource, do a RMA....

I don't think it was spinning on reboots anymore, but it was hard to hear over the fans. The HD light tended to go on and stay on, but no bios recognition.

I don't really have spare computer for testing the drive so I'll just let it go for now. I was just curious if the lack of bios recognition usually means the drive is dead.
