SoB: New Client for P4s

just upgraded 4 1.8gig's at work.. will see how much my graph jumps up.. looked impressive so far.. I have one more p4 to upgrade here at work thats currently in use.. and i have a few more at my GF's house that I'll have her upgrade when shes home. YAY!

I'm looking at almost a 2x incease on my p4. Everyone update you clients asap.


This may present a good opportunity for a cpu trade with people who are running athlons so they can run other projects for another forum member and have them run sob on their p4/opteron

Thats all I can say, I just said screw it. I stopped my SoB client, then the services on a plain jain P4 2.4GHz w/HT. It just double clicked it and it installed simple as that. The cEM's went from a mere ~780 to 1.25M with no reboot and a game of SC and KOTOR b4 :Q

I like it is all I can say. Now for the rest of the systems kinda hard to get 2 :disgust:
 
upgraded most of my p4's.. noticed a nice lil jump in output.. this is a must have for all P4's and a64's and xeons, we need to get em upgraded as fast as possible to try and get our 1st place spot back!!!
 
Yes it does! 😉 I stopped the service, installed the new client over the old one and started the service. OK started the client first too see if it worked...and it did! 😀
