Perhaps I should explain the reason my rate is 0 for today. I disabled intermittent blocks on all my clients to prevent them from stalling. It may look like I've gone dead, but I'm crunching full speed ahead.

I've had a really long day mode on...

personally, i'm getting a little tired of seeing the S word (sandbagger/ing) being used "over there" to describe us...and then in the same breath he wants to "try to refrain from direct name-calling and profanity"...

lessee...so if I have to turn off bloc reporting cuz I don't have a 24/7 connection then I'm a sandbagger?

lessee...we've been averaging the same rate for a couple of months now (and it's only 5 or so points higher from our July rate and we've actually decreased from when I joined on) but they write it to the whole world that it's a massive production ramp...I'm still new at this but figured a ramp-up would happen just a bit quicker...

Using 'sandbagger' is not meant as a derogatory term, it is just what we have called others in the past that mask their production levels. There's nothing wrong with hiding one's production, turning 'intermediate blocks' off is perfectly acceptable. It is all just part of the great game of DC.

The rest of that write-up is just a motivational blurb to try and get us some extra members so we don't go down without a fight. I'd hate to see us roll over, letting you take first without having to work for it.

I believe we have always had a good relationship with you guys in SoB, just friendly competition without the angst that sometimes appears between competitive teams. But there is no need for name-calling or anything like that, it only detracts from the fun.

Hell, I live for the name calling. How boring would DC be if all the teams were perfectly civilised and no trash talking went on at all? It's all about the competition!

That said, I'm getting steadily more depressed at TPR's new rate. US-D I can live with, they're just having a mammoth weekend ramp... the results of which are pretty impressive. I can't help thinking that if they can do that with 30 members... what could we do with 150?

Turning 'intermediate blocks' off is not sandbagging. Sandbagging is what they did to the DPC in Ecc2. They had about
15 people crunching under one name and then joined TVM. BIg pointswere hidden from view.
