No, I used to biatch about it, but 5 bucks extra week is no sweat. I spend that much on a burger and a drink at Sonic for lunch.

No. I get an average of 34 mpg with my Civic. 30 mpg in town - 39 mph on the highway (I record the numbers for fun with every fill-up). I plop in $15 every 3 weeks - so it certainly isn't a big expense.

no

(gas is $1.55 or so, so it went up all of $0.20 or so)

doesn't effect me... i've always tried to drive a little less than normal... it's only like $7 difference per tank (we're talking since I first got the car back in 2001) using highest octane gas. that's like $7 a week.. oh well.

Escort back home in rural Maryland equals good gas mileage...Escort at school in Chicago equals not so great mileage, but I don't drive much anyway, so I'd say, no.

As ElFenix said, gas it still in the range of $1.50-1.60. So yeah that would be a big no it hasnt changed my lifestyle.

Jeese... the last time I filled up my truck I didn't break $40, and it's an F250.

Nope, my bus pass still costs the same every month.

If I was able to drive, however, it wouldn't have much impact.

I typically filled my Accord once a week, the additional $5-10 a week is trivial.

Plus, I live only 4 miles from work where it was 30 before.

When the weather clears up just a little more I can start riding my bike again too.

First of all, gas prices really aren't that high. So, no, I haven't changed my driving habits.

Hahahahaa. I just can't help but laugh at those people. Almost $80 fvckin dollars to fill up the gas tank, that's sad.

Nope. It still doesn't even cost me $16 to go 400+ miles.

I fill up like once a month.

get a grip. still the cheapest prices in the world...
but it does sound like you are a cheap mofo.
bargain hunting all over the place!
if it is hurting you that much i suggest you find a different line of work that wil pay you more.
as far as skyrocketting? i don't think so... i've seen it hit 2.75-3.50 before, i can definately still live with the 1.80 i'm paying right now.
so it's up about 25 to 30 cents a gallon? so what.

No. I drive a car that takes premium and gets 13mpg. I only drive it about 250 miles a month though, so it's not a big deal.
