Soaked Nikes, dead cell phone and calculator (for now i think), wet backpack and everything
in it. Campus had this massive clusterfuck-Thunderstorm. Nonstop rain and the streets were like 4-6 inch deep in water. Had to walk about a mile through that shit. On top of that, I have a cold allergy (cold urticara) and so I got an outbreak of hives from it. There's a chance I would have died from shock if I didn't make it back inside due to this fucked up allergy and rain.

Man, if mother nature was a person I'd kill her, and make a coat out of her to wear incase it ever
rains again (which wouldn't I guess). I can't even got to classes because it's raining tomorrow too, and my shoes are fucking soaked.

Ugh.

I been waiting my time just to talk to you
You've been lookin' all down in the mouth
and down at your shoes
Well, baby, I came to give you the news
I'll paint rainbows all over your blues

But really, the dryer works fine.... It is called the dryer for a reason.

Heat isn't good for most of the materials in shoes, particularly if there is any real leather. In addition, you have to listen to the clunking and clanking.

They are nikes. And it gives you an excellent reason to blast some Pantera.

Remove the laces before you dry them, that way they're more open.

And, if you have an allergy to cold & could have died - I suggest checking the weather forecast & purchasing a folding umbrella to carry. Some of the dollar stores carry small folding umbrellas - I can't believe they're only a dollar. Work just fine & will fit in my pocket when I'm outside expecting hard rain in an area without shelter.

They're called boots. I cannot fathom somebody living in Illinois without a pair of boots.
