So your ex-gf or ex-wife starts dating a African American.

Don't lie guys. 🙂

If your ex-gf or ex wife started dating an African American male would it eat you up? Although we have made great strides in concern towards race it's still taboo to see a black male with a white female. I feel most Caucasian males still can't deal with black/white relationships.

Also, has it happened to you?

Something I noticed that is somewhat related to the topic. Whenever you see a black/white relationship on TV and in movies its usually black male/white female and never white male/black female. I dunno..just something I noticed..maybe its just me.

I dont care what any of my ex-gf's do and I dont care who they date. They can hang out with any spear chucker they wish to.

Good Bye!

Who cares? Jeez....when are we going to stop worrying about what color someone's skin is?

It's reality shiner especially with the older generation. I think as the younger generation gets older then this particular issue will become a non-issue.

But until then...

I think I've noticed it...White male/Asian Female, never Asian male/White female

I've noticed Hispanics go both ways...If I had to pick one way that it went more often, it would be Hispanic female w/the white guy

p.s. Race doesn't matter...love...

Why did you say "wow?" Do you think i'm ignorant for asking this question. You didin't have to read my thread and you didn't have to respond. I asked a question because I'm curious.

Ignorant for not reading your grammar book, sure. 😉 Questions end in a question mark.

He'd be getting my sloppy seconds anyway 😉
I wouldn't exactly classify putting a footlong in a bun formerly occupied by a vienna sausage as sloppy seconds.

😉

The black females tend to be very light skinned. Holly Berry is one example. Not too many dark black females.

Doh!

:frown:

I'm serious guys. You or your parents wouldn't be pissed if your sister walked in with a black male?

What's the response you're going for?

Is this about parents or ex-boyfriends? Because those two groups are pretty different...

Eh....I don't think the issue of mixed race relationships is as big of a deal as you think. See it all the time around here and I've yet to see someone get a weird look or be harassed about it. One of my best friends married a black guy last year....she couldn't possibly be more white......light skin, blue eyes, and blonde as blonde can be. We go out together all the time and I've never seen them get disaproving looks or anything......

Surprise, smart guy, but most of the world doesn't give a flying four-letter-word for copulation about the color of one's skin.

Read this...

This guy would disagree.

Few things in America still generate looks of disgust quicker than the sight of a black man with a white woman. Even the most liberal among us have to search our tolerance levels at times to resist the urge to frown upon or condemn couples that don't "match." While we tell ourselves that true love knows no color and respects no ethnic boundaries, there's a little voice in us that invariably asks the question, " but what about the children?"

🙁
