So you know if you take ear buds and push them up in your ear

Any in ear buds that seal in the ear and provide the same effect without having to keep apply pressure to keep them in?

I hear jamming q-tips in there until your ears bleeds, changes your response.

Yeah I understand what you mean, but I dont listen to music at ear screaming levels. But bass is not reproduced as strongly as trebel, or i should say, not recognized by the ear as the same volume. Bass from headphones degrade literally in millimeters of space. So I was just trying to think of some way to level the playing field of the sound levels.

Might as well start saving those pennies for that hearing aid. That is unless you have any sort of hearing left by then.

This is where custom molds for IEM's excel, especially because they can run a standard test on your hearing and do it again at a lower time to compare. (I forget what it's called, but it's generally recommended for people that will be using them for long periods of time, especially if at loud volumes)

I'm not crazy guys XD My intention isn't to destroy my hearing, merely to level the sound field instead of always having to deal with a non existent bass level while trebels screech.

Canalphones/in ear monitors. Those made by Ultimate Ears, Shure, Etymotic, and Westone are highly regarded.
