Yeah, I have a DVD like that at home, cool stuff, it's best to watch it with a list of the sync ups =)

Snyders of Berlin BBQ chips helps mask the taste, which by itself gives you a good idea of the growing medium. Mescaline (man made Peyote) was always my fav, the perfect combination of shrooms/liquid. The softness and all body buzz of shrooms, the intensity of acid.

Perhaps the music was arranged by Floyd to match, imagine the trick that would have been considering the audio masterpiece that is DSOTM.

I remember a full concert of them showing the movie and playing the sound track some years back. People paid $10/pop to see it :)

Its back up.

I didn't watch all of it (fast forwarded), but I think you have to be on drugs to think it syncs up well. They have to loop the CD through for one. Then the part that plays with Somewhere Over the Rainbow doesn't fit at all. The start of some of the songs sync with a transition, but I don't know that it fits (such as Time with the old hag's arrival, well when worded like that it fits but not in the vein of the movie where its a more foreboding) and Money with Dorothy's arrival in Oz. Perhaps on a thorough viewing with an idea of the significance of the syncing parts, maybe it would make sense.

You don't smoke shrooms, you eat them. Since you measure your dose in grams, it would take a lot of smoking to get the same effect as eating them.

i downloaded a dubbed over video of it like 3 years ago. Really works if you start the album at the 2nd or 3rd lions roar before the actual movie starts. too many coincidences to count/catch the first time around, entertainment at the least...

Play movie with dark side in and on pause, making sure the system your using that plays the cd doesnt have a delay. If there is no delay from hitting pause to it starts to produce music then right after the second roar stops hit play. you know your right when she falls off the fence and the moment she does the music score takes a darker mood. It really only works for one play of the cd as I heard this one is played 2x through the entire movie. I cant say that is right, but I have freaked many a friends out over the years with this. Not the same though not hearing some of the dialog though with the version, I always liked to hear some of the movie just slightly in the back ground while the music was going.

But if it is all set up right, once she falls off the fence if the music doesnt change at that exact moment, you dont have things right.

no way. its uncanny. i tried it for the first time ever using CD+VHS of the movie, and i got it spot-on on the first attempt. Dorothy jumping off the fence railing...to the great in the sky while the tornado hits.. Us and Them when the bad witch comes out

Whats amazing is that not only it syncs on the first play, after the 2nd and 3rd loop of the cd, the music transition still fits the movie (not only across movie cuts, but contextually)

its been 4 years since ive seen it but there are tons and tons of coincidence throughout

Maybe it's a sync issue or the fact I've never done drugs, but I don't see anything in common.

It takes really good drugs and like UFOs you have to really want to believe it. Most of it's pretty silly and a giant stretch of the imagination. There's a cute bit where she's walking along a fence top while Floyd is singing "balanced on the biggest wave", but that's about it.
