...and it didn't have a screen. Everyone told you it was lame, and not having a screen sucked. So now the Nano is out, and you can go re-buy the latest apple "technology" to get a screen, but it still doesn't have a tuner. In three months are you going to buy the new Nano FM? In another 3 months you'll get mass storage support, and in another standard batteries...maybe after that you'll get a built in usb plug so you can connect it anywhere. Wouldn't that be grand :) Ahh, new technology.

I have a house for sale, only $250,000, but...it doesn't have any windows. I mean, who really needs windows? I'll give you windows in 3 months, but it's going to cost you $250,000 again :)

you're a moron. around the time it was released, most flash-based mp3 players with 512mb are over $100. at $100, it was not so bad even if it has no screen. i don't know you, but i rather get something made by apple than something made by apacer or irock or whatever crap they call it, and i don't even like apple.

Almost as bad as the new $500 video card that has "super happy video pixel shader 9.2" then six months later its worth $250 because the new card with "super happy video pixel shader 9.7" is rumored to be on shelves within 4 weeks.

I'm still happy with my Shuffle...I listen to an insane amount of music, but most of it's at home. I don't spend much time on the road or walking these days, so not having a screen isn't a big deal to me. Plus, I didn't have a USB drive before, a feature that I'm using more and more.

Here's a hint: I'm not making any disparaging remarks about Apple or their marketing.
