So will PC2700 work in existing motherboards?

I did a search and found a brief thread that said the ECS K7S5A could do 133FSB/166MEM. But will PC2700 be like the Tualatin and need new tech to go on previous boards, or just fine?

EDIT: Can boards like the Epox 8K7A, 8KHA etc. do the same things the K7S5A can?

PC2700 = DDR333 or whatever you wish to call it. Current modules are capable of it, and boards can handle it just fine. I'm currently running a 333MHz FSB (effective) on 8K7A without a hitch, using cheap as sin Crucial PC2100 modules. Just give them a bit more voltage and you're good to go. Yields are improving and I suspect we'll see "official" PC2700 modules in the very near future. FWIW, I've not yet achieved 166MHz FSB using K7S5A. I suspect the problem is that voltage adjustment isn't possible for the DDR modules with this board. 150MHz (PC2400) is perfectly achievable, however.
