well.. I would assume that you feel colder because more heat is lost through your feet. No idea why you sweat more, as i have not noticed this

yeah, the cold makes sense, just the cold WITH sweat confuses me. i thought everyone was like this?

didnt your mom tell you not to go w/o socks cus it would make your shoes stink???

your feet don't sweat anymore or less... its just that socks absorb sweet much better than the insides of your shoes. Thus you start to feel the moisture much quicker when wearing just shoes. You will eventually start to feel sweat while wear socks and shoes too.. it just takes much much longer.

Shucks Ed.. you beat me to the answer... :)

I used to wear shoes without socks ocasionally.... but my feet got so stinky... man... now its a fresh pair of socks everytime I put my shoes on... its so much better...

Happens to me too, I hate it.

The worst is when you get that sweaty and cold feeling on your feet when you go to bed:disgust:
