Because I dislike consoles. Mainly because of the damn controllers and they're dedicated to only gaming. If you could hook a keyboard and mouse up to one and use it for more than just games, like playing music, or watching movies, or surfing the web, hmm, I dare say you'd have a computer which is what I use for all of the above. Don't see the point in shelling out another $500 for a box that only does a portion of what a computer does.

Yeah but I gotta have a new console otherwise I'll go $#@! crazy. I just hope some decent Mario and racing games are released before 2007.

The Xbox 360 is a very powerful, capable machine that is constantly getting better look at the awesome firmware update they just released.

PC gaming is starting to get boring for me, there hasn't been a really good shooter for a lonngg time.

Both Quake 4 and Doom 3 really disappointed me. And I can play Fear on the 360.

I spent 400 dollars on and X800 Pro way back in the day and now i'm wondering if I should have just saved up my money for a 360.

Late to thread, but will put my two cents in to make OP happy to see a reply for his thread....

I DON'T have a fail box because it doesn't have a mouse and keyboard.

It DOESN'T put forth a task intricate enough to engage me for hours on end.

It is a system for beginners, just like every other "thumb" style console.

It is no more than an upgrade to the crap ass xbox non-360... or however you girls like to call your systems these days.





P.S. I also think WoW and RPGs are much much gayer on a new scale than console games..... FPS ftw, chumps.

YEa there sure are a lot of good non-buggy FPS's out there for PC that I can't get on the Xbox 360.

This is correct...you can't "backup" your games to the harddrive, but you can make your own Dual Layer backups so that the originals don't get scratched.

People like you make me hate the PC enthusiast arena more and more. So freaking elitist and unable to open your eyes to multiple options. Anyone can play a FPS on a PC because it's a lot easier to play. Wouldn't that make the PC more of a 'beginner' level than a console system that is notably more difficult due to the control scheme?
