I'm just curious,
theres 3 different things that prove it right (microwave background radiation, light density and that hubble thing that proves starts are accelerating outward),
so why are people still against it?

Because they don't understand it. Same reason why some people still believe that earthquakes are acts of God as oppose to tectonic plates... they don't understand it, so they attribute it to a higher being (they need to explain it somehow).

Or, it will destroy their faith. They need a crutch in life, and religion is it.

Since when does anyone not believe that earthquakes are caused by tectonic plates?

Mesopotamians (sp?):
Cultivate land, grow crops, sky spouts water, crops flood out, no food, 'GOD' did it.

You think everybody in the world is educated in how tectonic plates affects the earth?

Ah, so your experience must be universal. Since you never met one, they must not exist.

Many, many years ago, my son's mother plopped her fat @ss down on a bench somewhere.

The seismic waves shook the earth...for hours. The "Big Bang" theory was instantaneously born...those poor scientists; they never had a chance...the overpowering sonic boom....poor guys. :Q

people don't believe in evolution/big bang. its science, not religion. if you have "faith" for a certain theory then you're probably polluting the science.

Now if you were to pass off the Big Bang in a religious/spiritual way, like... 'Now when the world began there was a ray of light and it spread and from this ray came many things...' bladi blah blah blah bladi! Anyways, the world is not ready for theories to be thought of as the main core beliefs because it's not something that you can blindly follow. People have almost always needed this. Why do you think those women with the feminist views think those huge breasted and hipped dolls were female goddes idols? They want to think that it's more than what it most likely was... primitive clay porno.

What you have are some facts that indicate that the Big Bang is a plausable explanation. I would not be absolutely sure about it though. There is significant evidence that the universe had a beginning, as opposed to the old Steady State theory and the like, however the mechanism and origin is far from certain. Remember, that everything you know is wrong. :D

BTW, I am not sure what you mean by "light density" Is it related to Obler's Paradox?
