In "You're Beautiful" James Blunt comes in early and countless people have parodied this, but why exactly DID he come in early?

I really hate to agree with Danny boy here, but yeah, what the hell are you talking about? A link would be nice. I wouldn't click it, but at least then I could ignore your thread thinking "Oh, he posted a link, I'll ignore it," instead of, "WTF is all this nonsense about James Blunt?"

I only know what you're asking because I've listened to the Weird Al parody, but I've never listened to the Blunt tune from beginning to end.

I love how women love that song, even though what he is really conveying is what everyone man in the world does all day long...look at chicks and think about hittin and quittin. He turns it into a "love" song and the chicks go wild.

Why is it coming in early at all? It's only coming in early if it's someone else's song. If it's your song then it's intentional.

The chicks don't listen to the words, they only hear "You're beautiful" and think of themselves like "OH EMM GEE THIS IS SUCH A GREAT SONG BECAUSE IT MAKES GIRLS FEEL PRETTY!"

If you look up the lyrics, more than anything it's "axe-murder-style" creepy.

He screwed up, came in early, but refused a retake saying that his mistake should be captured, because all things are beautiful or something like that.

Because here in ATOT, we never, EVER discuss people's decisions, actions, or personal choices, do we?

Case in point "Every breathe you take" by the Police. Simply the #1 biggest stalker song of all time turned "love" song

I always though that "Every breath you take" was about quitting smoking.
