Gotta be Yao. He was under enoromous pressure and after the first 10 games where he didn't get alot of minutes everyone was saying he was a bust.

He really lived up to the hype. He should have been ROY. If the Rocket's hadn't had all their problems and had made the playoffs he would have won ROY.

Yao showed that he will be a star for years to come.

Oh please, Amare Stoudemire desired ROY more than Yao by a long shot. If you compare their stats you'll see that they're almost identical; that's pretty amazing when you consider that Stoudemire is 7 inches and 50 lbs lighter than Yao (who is 2 years older), not to mention the fact that Yao played in a real basketball league (in China) whereas Stoudemire came straight out of high school. I don't see how Yao was under any more pressure than Stoudemire either.

What does desire have to do with it?

I'm pretty sure he meant "deserved".

Lol, yeah that's what I meant.

I'm shocked that no one have mentioned T-Mac.
Best offensive player in the league.
Kobe is better on the defensive end so I considered them equal players.

Opps, guessed someone did.
