As we speak I am beaing beaten down by my 22 month old son and my 5 year old daughter. I am 42 and love every minute of it.

Anyone else having a blast in their senior years with young ones?

Early 40's are not your "senior" years .

What's more fun is that I go to work at 2 am and meet my wife to pick up my son at around 930 am after work. Then I get to come home and be Mr. Mom until 7 pm and usually get to bed by 10 or so.

Having said that, this is what my wife and I choose to do. We wanted to keep our kids with us at home and avoid the daycare scene, and having two jobs with these schedules allows that to happen.

38 here with a 14 month old and 1 on the way. I don't meet the "oldest" criteria, but I am older than many and still loving fatherhood.

45? really? I assumed you were between the age of 18-27.

If you were a 18-27 woman I would really appreciate your assumption. :p

I'm 47, youngest son is 8, oldest is 20. I think you're a little liberal with the "senior" tag :)

Based on my relationship with my parents at that age, it's the longest they'll be able to stand me.

Nah, they can stay as long as they want, but no free lunches. :D

I moved out when i was 16. I didn't have a very good relationship with my father at the time (actually his girlfriend at the time). It was rough living alone so early. i will not push my kids out until they are older or at least out of college.
