Zippy, I will have my report on the MSI815e pro next week after i get my p3700 cbo delivered to me sometime this week.

This MoBo has only 3 PCI slots... will all 3 be usable ?? will there be any problems with the PCI slot next to the AGP slot ??

I have made up my mind to get this MoBo as soon as it is available in my part of the world.
 
To I have two coming to update my test rigs...but wont be here til friday because I was a cheap ass and had them shipped ground.
 
I have it the CUSL2.

A few odd problems here and there, although I think they are mostly BIOS related:

1. Win98SE can't restart, even with the latest patch. Can shutdown though....Win2K no problems, supposedly WinME is OK as well.

2. Since I can't boot at 933, I have my 700 sitting at 770. On cold boots, it goes back to 700, but on warm boots, sets back to 770.

3. I don't like the placement for the USB bracket header. You have to stretch the cables all the way from the back of the board to the front, between the PCI cards. Since I don't have that many USB devices, I don't bother with the extra backet.

4. No AGP Aperture adjustment in the BIOS....I think the BIOS feels like it's missing a few other small items too, although I am not sure what....just feels like there should be a few more items here and there.

5. The extra COM2 bracket is nice though.

Pretty much everything else is quite good. The iPanel for the CUSL2 looks interesting.....the USB ports and sound input/output with MIDI on a 5 1/4 drive bay just like the LiveDrive. Although it looks to be very expensive. Hhmmm....What else can I say?

Mine just arrived. Actually I'm at work right now, so I won't get to play with it till this evening. Ordered from http://www.allstarshop.com for ~$180 shipped. It's the version without audio, which I believe is the only one on the market right now, unless someone can prove me wrong.

I have one. I've got my P3-650 running at 866 1.65v, which is pretty good, that was what I was hoping for.

The good:
-I just dumped all my PCI cards in and they worked. SB Live, Hauppauge WinTV Theater, Sigma Designs Hollywood+ DVD card, 3Com 2977 OEM v.90 PCI modem, and an Intel Pro/100+ Management adapter. Plus a CL Annihilator 2.
-The board is super stable. No hardware crashes, some software/driver problems with my abCD CDrw proggie and IE 5.5 + active desktop (no idea why).
-Live Andy Hui, I have been staring at that Asus iPanel connector and am currently looking for an Asus iPanel. Could be fun messing with that thing.
-The 5 USB ports are nice.

The bad:
-For some reason, my CPU temp monitoring is screwed. My CPU, according to the BIOS/Asus Probe, is running at a chilly 8 deg C and my motherboard is at 25 deg C. I don't think my Alpha FC-PAL35 is THAT effective. My friend also has the same problem but both of our boards came from the same batch/box so it could be just us. Asus boards usually, from what I've seen, have temperature monitoring problems for the first couple of BIOSes.

Needless to say, the good totally outweighs the bad. This board is probably the easiest to install, and the most stable I have ever used. That a pretty big thing to say considering I only use Asus motherboards.

Btw, if you guys are going to get the CUSL2, I suggest you download the latest i815E chipset utility off of Intel's site (not sure if the one on the CD is the latest) and Asus forgot to include the Intel Ultra ATA Storage driver on the CD so you are going to want to download that too.
