MM does hate america.

So by exposing certain aspects of America, he hates it?

Ho hum.
Did I say that?

No, but thats what MM tends to do, and thats what your as good as implying.
Plenty of people do the same, but don't hate it. He's different because he does hate America. Well, he pretends to. If he hated it as much as he insinuates he'd move to Canada, which is by his account a utopian paradise.

When have you ever heard him say anything good about the US without slanting it in some regard by down treading some other aspect?

His documentary's about weaknesses of America, not how great America is. Of course he's not going to promote good features of the USA, some other monkeys can do that.

And better still, he's still in the USA right?
Regardless, he still hates America, except for the money he makes and the followers he gets.

Actually if you knew anything about America you would know he loves it more then most others. He goes after those that make America look bad and points out its flaws in hope that they may be fixed and make America even better then it is now.

That?s what is great about America, we can speak up and not have to be worried about being killed or jailed. Again something most foreigners don?t seem to understand, yet act like they do.

that's bs. anytime he talks in another country he spends 3/4 of his time bashing america and americans.

I don't like the way MM does his movies, and I have to admit they're thought provoking, but honestly he was old hat years ago, everything he's done since Roger & Me has just been the same crap about a different subject, it's more like an op ed piece in the paper than entertainment, & ever since watching Roger & Me, I've had the distinct impression MM would sell his own mother for a $ & some attention.

Not to go off topic, but is that one of the guys form Penn & Teller I see in the preview?

If he's in it, I'll watch it, I love their stuff.

MM in an interview about why he's avoiding being interviewed, "I'm not going to be in anyone else's movie but my own."

LOL, someone's MM'd MM😀 😀

That is the guy from penn and teller, that seems kind of random though...

I'll definitely see it if it hits theatres ever. I'd even rent it if theatres won't have it.

People think that going to see a documentary which debunks MM and F911 as something bad. If MM can object to America, why can't America object to what MM does and ensure that what he says is truthful? Perhaps those people love America too--they just want to see that it is fairly represented. It isn't a one way street and those who are interested should be allowed to see how truthful his facts and documentaries are.

Those who outright object to "Michael Moore Hates America" are even worse than those who deny Farenheit 911 without seeing it. People who support Michael Moore have a greater obligation to ensure the whole truth (seeing as how they drape themselves in the "whole truth and real Americans point out its flaws" type flag), not just what MM's truth entails...

there's a difference between hating what a poor leader is doing to the country you love, and hating your country.

but i wouldn't expect conservatives to be able to make that distinction unless the leader was a democrat. then it's ok to hate your leader, right?

Doesn't look like that is what it is from the trailer. Looks like he is just going around talking to people that like America. Then he goes and pisses MM off. Wouldn't you be pissed too if some guy came up to you and told you that you hate your country? By all means make stuff that tries to debunk his movie, but its stupid to say he hates america. When you scold your kids for doing something wrong do you hate them?

Michael Moore, and all of his followers, are quite possibly the biggest douche's in the world

I just don't get it with you freaks. Why is questioning the government a sign of hatred or unpatriotism? Dissent IS patriotic, because it is being done with the intention of making this country a better place, and even if it isn't the end result is reevaluation which can only make things better. America may be the best country in the world, but that DOESN'T mean its perfect - that's where you fascists go wrong You can't take an OUNCE of criticism about this country - this is the same behavior that religious fanatics engage in. Maybe its your religous ubpringing and need to believe in a symbolism of perfection that makes you reel in anger (which is simply a masking of fear) when someone questions your god or your country.

You and Osama are more alike than different, don't you think?

I won't see it, because it won't be played here.

Also, I won't participate in any "review" threads because of that.

And who is objecting to a debunking of MM or F911? I don't see that here. What I see is people objecting to a personal attack on MM only because they dislike the information he has spread about the conservative agenda in this country, much like what the MM-haters in this thread are doing - name-calling ("fat whale") without anything else behind it be transparent fear and hatred because the facts he's injected into the political equation makes their brain hurt.
If the movie shows some dirty little secrets of MM with regard to politics (saying he had an affair would just be defamatory) or factual inaccuracies of his movie, then it will be an equally informative and useful piece to see.

anytime he talks in another country he spends 3/4 of his time bashing america and americans.

Really? I didn't know that. If you have any sources on the net, I'd like to read more about this.

so.. anytime an american goes abroad he has to defend bush regardless eh? get a grip😛 the totally unamerican line about how if u don't support bush, you hate america has to stop. it reaks of authoritarianism.

All posters who have sunk to insulting others really shouldn't try to debate points. What does insulting do other than anger those that you insult? Why not try and debate points without regressing to middle school?

Thats piss poor and you know it. As many have mentioned, his documentary brings an insight into relevant issues within the USA.

Then again - nothing personal here - but I do remember you saying how it was wrong for a girl who spoke out at her final day at school, where making an important annoucement would have a good shockwave on future students.

Which makes me think, does she hate the school too? All that effort she went into....just to say "this school sucks" ?

No, I dont think she does.
Maybe you dont want to see / hear the problems of the USA?
