However, I also have 12 hours of additional overtime this week, plus some OT scheduled for next weekend. Which means I should be getting a $1,000 paycheck after taxes.

I'm in the place where I work, but not "at work."
Since I work from home, technically, I'm always "at work." Of course there's that little issue of 24x7 on call... So - yeah, I'm at work.

I do LAN support for Qwest DSL.

I applied for it, took their knowledge tests, & was offered a job. Plain & simple.

Viper, do you have to know alot about networkiong and stuff? I am tired of bring a tech a all the stupid customers. That would be kick ass to work at a ISP or something.

I started out doing regular DSL tech support, & ISP support. I did that for almost a year, & then moved to this group. Now all I do is LAN support using the Cisco 675 router.

What positions did you apply for Viper? There's a Qwest office in my area maybe I might wanna try something like that to break into the computer field. Is the test really hard? I'm tired of working for my family.

We just got our ham/turkey lunch. cold. everthing is cold. I wanna be a pilgrim...

I worked a desk job the last two summers, paid good, but it was boring...there was really no one my age and I was stuck in an office during the summer.

Now I have a retail job...it pays just more than half(!) what my other job did but it's so much fun. I don't really do much in the way of work and there are SO many hot girls that come in.

In my first two days I got three numbers...incredible...now I'm dating this incredibly hot, track sprinter, ex-cheerleader, dancer...ahhh

I just got a raise a month ago to very near $40/hr I love these 9 month evals we have 40 hours a week, 5 days a week, no holiday or weekend work, no "on call" , simply put,the best place I've worked. I totally love it. By the way, I am a SysAdmin.
