Anyway I'm sure your going to improve quickly if you feel you need to.

:D

Your so helpful. :) :p

Elements of Style, Strunk and White!

I dug up this thread only to find that ggavinmoss already posted it. :D This is the book I was trying to find for the OP. Really, really, really great book. Really! Absolutely one of the best books on grammar and style I've ever read.

The proper title is, "So, who wants to improve his grammar with me?"

"Wants" is the singular form of the verb. "Their" is plural. Your subject and verb do not agree. The rule for standard English is that when a generic person of unknown gender is being referred to in the singular by a pronoun, the masculine form of the pronoun is used.

EDIT: And all the politically-correct types who take umbrage at the proper use of our language can bite me. :p

Hey, that's what I was trying to say. :)

I hope Tabb sees/has seen the Elements of Style recommendations, though... What a book.

"Who wants to improve his grammar with me?"

Their is not the proper pronoun for this situation.

Heh.

Edit: Bah, nevermind, others have already said it. I was too lazy to read them all though.
