So I uh went to the lacoste webpage, under male clothing. The guy is rolling his jeans...... you know, like the 80s? WTF?

Polo is the old stand-by. Banana Republic makes nice ones too. A&F is for kids so that's good if you are in high school or college - I'd discourage wearing A&F clothes in a professional setting.
 
Which ones aren't made in sweatshops? You'd think at least one brand would spend the extra $1 or whatever for fair labor in good conditions, and proudly display that they are "sweatshop free".
