The Carvers are pretty easy. They have just a little bit more health than the Fallen Ones and IIRC, they don't even get a shaman to revive them. A couple hits from my Barbarian takes them all down.

Anyone else disturbed by Julia killing that random person whom she thought was her mom? That issue never got resolved, we just saw her shocked to see her mother again. We've never seen her show guilt or remorse over this, although in every other action she has shown grace and maturity. That grace and maturity could be a facade to her inner madness. Other than her, Liz might be the one.

2) The carver has medical knowledge & had access to the meds given to Rhea Reynolds
3) Someone close to Sean & Christian
4) I would guess someone who is a subordinate / feels under appreciated in their job.

One person who fits the bill is Nurse Linda -- I know she's not a main character but she has been in nearly every episode since the first season, would have had access to the anaesthetic used during the surgery on Rhea (she was in that episode btw), would be able to sneak a copy of keys to Christians / Seans homes.

The only problem with the Nurse Linda theory is that since she's not a main character it might be a let down to viewers...so who knows what the writers are going to pull.

Earlier this morning I did see some promo pics on the fx network that showed Quentin holding a carver mask & knife as well as another pic of him holding the mask and Kit beside him. Those pics aren't there anymore...so who knows. Maybe they'll make it a tag team effort by Kit & Quentin. Like an idiot I didn't think to save them.

I've heard this one as well and never understood the motivation, but your explanation makes a lot more sense.

Personally, I'm leaning towards Quentin despite the evidence to the contrary, mainly because the last few shows have definitely closed the book on any possibilities for him, so it would be easy to write him in as the Carver, given the evidence pointing to him (access to drugs, surgical quality knives, raped at least two male victims, cut out Kimber's implants, etc.)

This is a good point. I found that scene to be a bit disturbing.
