We were bored at work and had some really big illegal fireworks. We decided to light a couple off and blow up some junk in the field in back of our store.

Well apparently a cop was driving by when they lit off the last one. It was a huge explosion. About 5 minutes later we had 2 of our friendly neighborhood policemen in the store trying to figure out who did it. No one knew, so they left. Lesson learned, I will wait until tomorrow night when I am out in the country to light off the rest.

I went out last week to launch a few fireworks. No aerial things, just to be safe.

meh...they were the local cops. One of them was new, so he must have been the one that got all excited. The other one just stood there and chatted with the guys for a while.

No fireworks are illegal in West Virginia! :D
Gonna blow up some stuff tomorrow, but I unfortunately couldn't afford anything that shoots into the sky. =(

I don't think much of anything is illegal in W.V., including marrying your 12 year old cousin/sister/whatever.

I'm not into the whole fireworks thing, but my neighbor went crazy. He's been doing this since Monday, and every night at 8 PM, he starts shooting bottle rockets, firecrakers, etc. He sent out like 10 bottle rockets at once like 30 minutes ago, and the cops came (not by my doing). He got arrested! I can't honestly say that I'm not happy either, as it was so loud (I turned up some music as high as it would go in iTunes, using some noise cancelling headphones I have, and I could still hear it.

I started the park behind my backyard on fire. Had to put it out with my extinguisher. burned a patch like 50' x 50' when an ariel shell went off at ground level instead of 200' up. I didn't think it was that dry.I don't think I will be using any this year, Idon't have another big extinguisher.

I live in the Bay Area, pretty much the only way to get fireworks is to have a permit or go to an Indian reservation :(

Stupid laws. :( There is always some asian neighbor who lights them off though, Roman Candles and the aerial stuff.

hehe,
I live on the resservation. so there isn't anything that is illegal...
We've got enough ordinance to make Bush's "shock and awe" look like sparklers at a kiddie show.

You have much to learn young one. Take a trip to WV sometime to see what it has to offer.

speaking of learning, it's about time you learned that bumping threads that are over two months old and about date-specific topics isn't a good way to make friends.
