I like Outkast and Sage Francis. I don't hate Usher, but I'd hardly call him "great". I've heard some other hip-hop that I've liked, but not on the radio.

He is a great entertainer. If he wasn't he would not be so popular, so by that aspect he is 'great'. Hell most guys here will never pull his monthly quota of women in their lifetime even offering to pay for it.

As far as his music....some good some bad as any band. He won't be winning non-entertainment musical awards, but many of the movies I like would never win an academy award...however they entertain me.

You got two types of people that flame these kinds of guys:

The jealous and those struggling with their masculinity.

Like I said you can not like his music...I don't really care for country but I am not saying Garth Brooks is terrible because I don't like him, that is ignorance....same with many opera greats....I have tried to enjoy opera but few stories I have enjoyed just a little....too drawn out and overly done many times.
