Just like a Seth McFarlane remake of the Flintstones, this simply cannot be a good thing.

I guess I was a weird kid .. I watched the oddball cartoons like Voltron, The Herculoids, Space Ghost and DBZ. I fail to see how they can be redone and improve on my childhood memories.

Always had a problem with Voltron and all the other copycats. (power rangers etc)

Ok if you can only win a freaking fight when you join the robots together to form the giant robot then why the hell do you ever break apart. :hmm: Just stay together as the giant robot all the time. DUH.

Kind of like Knight Rider. Just stay in the gosh darn car and you won't get hurt. No, he gets out of the car to tried to get laid and wham he gets beat up and held captive and the car has to save his sorry ass every episode.

Never watched Voltron but I loved Power Rangers.

Past tense. Power Rangers belong in my memories, and I have no desire to ever watch it again. I can't imagine enjoying a children's show today.

EDIT: Oh yeah in Power Rangers I remember once or twice they got beaten even after they went into their big-joined-robot mode, so they just added another piece and boom instant win every time.
