So which brand should I go with for a 8800GTX?

I hear eVGA and BFG Tech are good choices but I'd like other suggestions if possible.

eVGA is great if you live in the US due to their Step-up program.

I've owned 2 XFX cards as well, and they have behaved excellently.

I have a BFG because it's all I could find, I like it it overclocks well 640mhz on the GPU and over 2100 on the ram. This is with the stock cooler no problems so I'm quite happy with it. EVGA has a life time warrenty I believe, but you have to register the product with them within 30 days of the purchase to get it.

Which one would be best, I'm guessing the OCd one is just a tad better. Thanks for the quick responses too.

Yes the OC'ed one is a tad better. The question to ask yourself is, "Is it $40 plus a $30 rebate better?" The answer for me would be a resounding "NO!" Of course, I wouldn't buy a $500 card to begin with.

It is quiet possible that the lower clocked one will OC up to the level of the higher clocked card. In any case, you're likely talking about less than 5-8 frames per second at the stock speeds. I'd go for the lower clocked card.

Edit: Coolbits is your friend! :D

I would definitely go with the non-Superclock version because anything unplayable on the stock card will still be unplayable on the Superclock version.

Get the EVGA. With mail in rebate it's $60.00 cheaper than the BFG. I was pleased with the EVGA 7600 GTS I had before I upgraded to this X1950XT. I am assuming you are talking about the 640MB versions.

Out of the 320 MB right now on newegg. Gigabyte has a card that comes with Dawn of War Dark Crusade for 10 bucks more than the EVGA.
