Funny how the world revolves around Trump being so bad and how awful Trump is and how terrible are the things that Donald Trump does yet then along comes the holiday(s) and none of it seems to matter.
We suffer through the terrors of Donald Trump, well at least according to the media and to the congress, then poof. Nothing.
Where oh where has the that outrage gone? Oh where oh where can it be?
Oh boy is Donald Trump a really bad guy or so are we told, but apparently not so bad that the world can not take a vacation from it all.
Does anyone else feel that they are being played?
That maybe none of this really matters to anyone?
The media seemed to care until Christmas came along. And the congress seemed to care until the New Years holiday came along.
Christmas passed and New Years will pass and then come next week all that outrage will begin a-new.
Come next Monday we once again will be reminded of just how terribly awful Donald Trump can be.
That is, until the next holiday comes along then once again things won't seem quite so bad after all.
Congress splits town and the media reruns old news by TV anchors no one has ever heard of.
Is this only a game?
Something where the people are suppose to drop everything focusing on the terrors of Donald Trump, up until another holiday rolls around. Or some other shiny new distraction comes into play.
I'm beginning to believe the only one full of BS here are the media and the US congress.
Just maybe this is simply politics as usual and nothing more.
Politics as usual where one side stirs up the other side in some game of pretend outrage.
Just maybe we should do ourself a huge favor and ignore it all.
Just hold our nose and re-elect Donald Trump, ignore everything else, give Trump his last and final term as president, then be done with it.
Maybe this is nothing but a huge waste of taxpayer money and a huge waste of congress playing their little games.
Just maybe we are the saps here, and this is nothing more than a big show put on for our benefit.
A fools game of great outrage over pretty much a big nothing.
They already know that Donald Trump is going nowhere, they being the media, they being the congress.
They simply enjoy watching how obsessed the people can become.
How stirred up we can become.
How the saps they can play us for.
If it takes a holiday to calm the storm then I say bring on the holiday. One long four-year holiday.
And in the end Donald Trump won't seem so bad after all. The media not caring after all. The congress not so concerned after all.
Lets beat them at their own game because as I see it, where's the beef?
If things were so bad as we are lead to believe, then no one in congress would be taking off holidays.
Congress would be consumed with worry and concern, and the media giving it their best to cover it all and with their best of the best news anchors.
But they are not.
They are not so concerned so why should we be so concerned?
Especially, come next Monday.....
