payton and malone will try to get a job with either the Pistons or the Spurs 😀 only to be rejected.
Seriously, Malone is still damn good. They would have lost to the Spurs I think if not for Malone's defense and offense, and his
2 on 2 game with Bryant. Payton honestly is still good. Who carried the Lakers to a winning record with Kobe, Shaq, and Malone were
out during the regular season? People seem to forget Payton was the one who kept the boat from sinking in the first place.
It's just that Payton needs to offense to go through him. Thats been the problem with the Lakers. Their offense takes their point guard out of the equation. Kobe handles the ball and Shaq does the post up. Then when Payton gets outscored the media is all over him. to me, that is not fair at all. It is the way the Lakers offense was designed.

Kobe will go to NY. He likes big city and attention, and there is no other bigger than NY city.

Shaq will remain in LA and will probably get someone who can help. As a result, LA will still be a force. Just may not be as good as before.

Honestly, Payton is the only one I like. I hate the fact that he joined Lakers for a ring, but he is a good man. He donates and gives back to the community a lot.

haha, i dont remember this incident, of course i was 8 years old by then, so that's probably why 😉
