Maybe there are too many marketing dollars to be lost for covering Intel problems....

Some NDA's dont allow you to discuss problems encountered. I would believe its the reason behind those who recieved test systems but dont have benchmarks out.

I even know of a few products your not allowed to discuss on released products because of contracts.

And as Pariah said in another thread:

Xeons are not marketed to the public. They're a footnote even in the enthusiast market, so why would enthusiast sites be sitting around waiting to post reviews the moment they are released? Corporate America certainly isn't sitting around waiting for THG's or Anand's review before making their next mass upgrade.
Opterons aren't marketed to the enthusiast market either, but that didn't stop us wanting to get a feel for Athlon64 performance by reading about Opteron. ;)
And then there are those of us that have or will be getting dual Opterons to use the power they carry in 64-bit PCI slots (PCI-express, is it any faster than PCI-Xb at 133 ?)

That's not a review, it's a re-worded press release.

Are there any actual reviews of this thing where someone successfully booted an OS yet?
