So where did the CRT monitors go?

So my crappy 19" NEC CRT Monitor seems to be dieing, and I think I'll need a new monitor soon. Last time I was looking to buy a new monitor I almost bought myself a viewsonic P95f+ (god I should've...). But now that I need a new one, this is definitly what I was planing to buy. So I start looking at my pricelists, only to find LCD monitors have infested the market! And how dare did they! They have almost deleted all viewsonic's professional serie!!! (there's only a few 20-22inch ones now).

What the hell!!!! What if I want the quality and high refreshes of a real CRT!? How come LCD are invading the market like this, they cost more and the quality cannot compare to high quality CRT such has Viewsonic P or Sony.

-I don't need room on my desk, I have no use for the space behind my monitor...
-I don't care about the electricity bill being 5$ more expensive per year
-I want high quality monitors, where are they!!

Now I'm scared... I'm scared that in a few years they are gonna disseaper completly 🙁

Your best bet is the Samsung 997DF or the ViewsonicG90F(B), the good CRTs are mostly discontinued leaving very little choice but both of those are good moniters. I'd suggest the Samsung because there are alot of reports of of poor quality control at viewsonic and the samsung is cheaper but your choice.
